It is with great regret that the Committee have to announce that Mr George Stevenson is unable to fulfil his forthcoming judging appointment on Sunday 24th February due to illness. I'm sure you will join us in wishing George a speedy recovery. Our replacement judge for Bitches will be Mrs Brenda Berry (Brinara).

KENNEL CLUB ANNOUNCES CHANGES IN STUD BOOK BANDS FOR 2019
The Kennel Club has announced changes in Stud Book bands for 2019 for some breeds, which will apply for all shows from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019. A Stud Book number qualifies a dog for Crufts for life. The full list of 2019 Stud Book bands can be found on the Kennel Club website at www.thekennelclub.org.uk/activities/stud-book-bands/.
RING PROCEDURES AT LICENSED SHOWS
The content covers ring procedures and the practical aspects of judging and may be of interest to judges of all breeds. The resource is free of charge and emphasises the judge's responsibilities in relation to health and welfare, general ring procedures together with relevant show regulations and practical aspects of judging. There is a multiple choice exam available which is available to anyone who wishes to take it. There is a certificate of achievement for those who pass the exam. For people who do not have a Kennel Club Academy account, registering an account is free of charge and anyone can undertake the education, register an account.
